Experts to discuss research-based model to help brands drive new, differentiated products to market quickly
Product innovation suffers from inefficiencies brought on by disjointed processes, systems and data. During a webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 24, CIMdata® and Planview® will introduce a new model for Enterprise Innovation Management (EIM) that can address these concerns. Using the framework, companies can better understand the innovation landscape as it relates to potential challenges and the software tools and processes that can help bring awareness to these pain points.
The world of product innovation is transforming. Networked economies and the rise of digital technologies have increased product complexity while demand and competition have forced innovation cycles to compress. Suna Polat, director of collaborative innovation and social development consulting practice at CIMdata, and Carrie Nauyalis, innovation and NPD solution evangelist at Planview, will examine these issues. They will draw on research from CIMdata and a series of interviews with innovation executives from companies such as Electrolux, Givaudan, GOJO Industries, Henkel, Honeywell and Procter & Gamble to discuss:
- Current challenges leaders face that introduce risk into their innovation portfolio
- A new, research-based framework for addressing the challenges in EIM
- Best practices on marrying innovation strategy and execution
