Angels On The Bay has successfully raised over $3 million since its inception in 1995 for the renovation and refurbishment of three major pediatric units for the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens.  Additionally, the charity has supported HeartShare Human Services of New York for the evaluation and education of our children with special needs, the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Pediatric Unit, Franklin General Hospital Center, Staten Island University Hospital, the renovation of the Angels On The Bay Pediatric Unit and Pediatric Emergency Room of the Peninsula Hospital in Rockaway Queens, New York Families For Autistic Children, Riverfund and St. Mary’s Hospital for Children.

In October 2009 Angels On The Bay donated over $132,766 to the Pediatric Care.  “We are always grateful for the financial support we receive from Angels On The Bay,” explained Mr. David P. Rosen, President and Chief Executive Officer of the MediSys Health Network.  “For the past 14 years, we’ve been able to use the donations to enhance our Pediatric Departments and ensure that we’re providing our youngest patients with the highest quality of care.”

Angels On The Bay was founded in 1994 by Frank Russo, Jr., his family and friends.  This small group of “Angels in Training” began their mission to be the keepers of hope and the guardians of dreams to all children in need of a little miracle.  Their inspiration came from personal encounters with pediatric illness and their personal concern for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Rinaldi, Adrianna Rinaldi, who was stricken with terminal cancer in 1994.
