Stockholm September 16, 2014. SMSE welcomes IoT platform developer Clayster, real estate energy specialist KTC and road maintenance specialist Mowic as new members. "The Swedish IoT industry is developing rapidly and our alliance has become a natural common foundation for the IoT entrepreneurs" says Magnus Melander, founder of SMSE. "Clayster, KTC and Mowic are all examples of industry focused IoT companies which remains a great formula for commercial success", continues Mr Melander.
The message promoted by SMSE is that Data is the gold of IoE, Service Enablement is the key to a prospering Internet of Things industry and that Service Enablers need to be specialized in the increasingly competitive and international IoT market. After the most recent expansion the alliance has 32 members and 10 sponsors.
SMSE today also announces its first industry initiative where IoT entrepreneurs, users and industry bodies in real estate jointly seek to agree on an open hardware and software IoT platform to develop innovative services on. The initiative already includes a couple of SMSE members and key players in the Swedish real estate industry. "This is a great way of establishing an industry standard enabling users to become more efficient and innovative and the entrepreneurs with a great reference when going abroad" says Magnus Melander.
