Stockholm, February 17, 2014: The Swedish M2M Service Enablers alliance welcomes two new members; Imagimob Labs, specializing in body motion analysis, and Expektra, providing solutions for efficient energy systems. "With Imagimob on board the alliance also covers the hot wearable market", says Magnus Melander, CEO at Wbird and founder of SMSE. "And with Expektra we have yet another member specialized in the large energy market", continues Mr Melander. Swedish M2M Service Enablers was founded in March 2012 to educate the market of the importance of M2M Service Enablement, to promote Sweden as the place to look for M2M Service Enablement solutions and to promote the members of the alliance in Sweden and abroad. International trade missions to countries like Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Holland have been a focus for the alliance during 2013. Business Sweden joins SMSE as sponsor to cooperate on making more and better trade missions onwards. "We have been cooperating successfully with Business Sweden at several events already and their sponsorship will help us substantially to promote Sweden as a leading nation in M2M", says Mr Melander.
"Internet of Things is a hot topic across industries and nations thus an interesting export opportunity for Sweden", says Niklas Johnsson, Vice President Head of Business Unit ICT at Business Sweden. "We are looking forward to supporting the alliance member's efforts to go abroad", continues Mr Johnsson.
With Imagimob, Expektra and Business Sweden now joining the Swedish M2M Service Enabler alliance (SMSE) it now counts 21 members and 6 sponsors.
SMSE is represented by nine members in a joint stand at the Swedish Pavilion (7F41) at MWC in Barcelona, February 24-27 2014: Kombridge, Springworks, Possio, Maingate, FYM, WSI, Info24, EvoThings and Wbird. "This is an example of great collaboration with our new sponsor", says Mr Melander.
The message promoted by SMSE is that M2M Service Enablement is the key to a prospering M2M or IoT industry and that Service Enablers need to be specialized in the increasingly competitive and international market.
