Stockholm, February 19, 2013: Tritech and Infracontrol join the Swedish M2M Service Enabler alliance (SMSE) together with four new sponsors: Net1, Tele2, TeliaSonera and Telenor Connexion.
Swedish M2M Service Enablers was founded in March 2012 to educate the market of the importance of M2M Service Enablement, to promote Sweden as the place to look for M2M Service Enablement solutions and to promote the members of the alliance. The SMSE activities have been well received and the alliance has grown bigger and more influential over the year.
"More members in our alliance means we can get more done and the important Service Enablement question will get more attention", says Magnus Melander, CEO at B3 Connect Compute and founder of SMSE. "And with four mobile operators now joining us as sponsors, our initiative gains substantial weight and power", continues Mr Melander.
SMSE is actively promoting the importance of M2M Service Enablement in order for the M2M industry to prosper. Efforts are made in media, reports and at events like M2M Forum in Milan, mDays in Frankfurt, Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, IoT Event in Eindhoven and M2M For Real and Mobile Future in Stockholm. SMSE are also engaged in bi-lateral and international collaborations with vendors, industry organizations and influencers.
"We are increasingly invited to speak, show our solutions, share our thoughts and to provide advise to influencers and decision makers", says Mr Melander. "We welcome this since we want to play an active role in the creation of the Internet of Things".
After the most recent expansion the alliance include ten members and five sponsors:
