Analysys Mason’s M2M scorecard for communications service providers 2015 is a ranking of communications service providers (CSPs) according to how they are performing in matters related to the M2M market. Our ratings are based on our evaluation of questionnaire responses from the CSPs and information obtained from interviews with M2M vendor partners of the CSPs. This is Analysys Mason’s fourth annual M2M scorecard. It offers the industry’s most in-depth insight into the attributes and capabilities of the world’s leading M2M CSPs.
Participating operators were: AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, Etisalat, Sprint, Swisscom, Tele2, Telefónica, Telekom Austria Group M2M, Telenor Connexion, TeliaSonera and Vodafone. Our ratings are based on our evaluation of questionnaire responses from the CSPs and information obtained from interviews with M2M vendor partners of the CSPs.
The CSPs Etisalat, Sprint, Swisscom and TeliaSonera identify as 'domestic or regional’ in nature with regard to addressing the M2M opportunity. Consequently, these operators were ranked separately from the other CSPs, which have a broader international focus.
All scorecards have an element of subjectivity. This report has been reviewed by a team of Analysys Mason analysts who actively research the M2M and IoT ecosystem from various perspectives.
