Time to qualify for the classic Paf Poker Challenge on Åland

Press Release   •   Nov 30, 2010 02:56 EST

The first qualifying final for the classic Paf Poker Challenge will take place on Wednesday 1 December. The Paf Poker Challenge 2011 will be held on 20-22 May on Åland.
“The goal for the Paf Poker Challenge 2011 is to create the biggest live poker tournament ever played on Åland, says Paf’s online poker manager,” Rickard Pettersson.

The seventh Paf Poker Challenge will be held on 20-22 May on Åland. Last year there were 162 players, a total the Åland gaming company Paf hopes to beat in 2011.
“We have increased the number of players taking part every year since we started,” Pettersson points out.

The buy-in for the Paf Poker Challenge 2011 is 800 euros (730+70), so the aim is obviously to set a record for the largest prize pot. A Paf Poker Challenge package is worth 1,300 euros and will include the buy-in for the main tournament, two nights with bed and breakfast at a hotel, meals, drinks, a Paf kit and travel money.

The first qualifying final

On Wednesday it is time for the first qualifying final on Paf.com in Spade Poker.

”The buy-in for Wednesday’s final is 320 dollars,” says Rickard Pettersson.
Every day we have qualifiers with buy-ins from 5.50 euros and freerolls from where you can reach the qualifying finals, which will be held on Wednesdays during the month of December: 1/12, 8/12, 15/12, 22/12 and 29/12.
