Gay Spirituality Expert and Progressive Christian Author Calls Pope an Agent of Evil

In response to recent moves by the Vatican, Dr. Reece Manley has added his voice to those decrying the Catholic Church by donating all profits his works have made to sales to Catholics to the organization P-FLAG, a group for facilitating understanding between gay and lesbian persons and straight family members.

“The Catholic Church has simply made another excuse to avoid dealing with pedophilia within their own ranks by equating gay men and deviancy.  What is really deviant is the behavior of the Church to fail to address its own failings to take responsibility for the acts of the priests within its folds,” Dr. Reece said in an interview given to LambdaPride.Org.

Reece, who’s award winning books Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source and Spirit Thinking: Your 30 Day Guide and Workbook have been selling swiftly this quarter, has his staff contacting each buyer and simply asking if they are members of the Catholic Church.  “Those answering yes will not be told anything except that he [Dr. Reece Manley] is praying for them,” says Craig Williams, PhD. of Advocate USA Publishing.  “However, we will be keeping tally and donating that amount to P-FLAG.”

“In addition, Reece will be releasing a recent study he chartered which shows that over 25 percent of all pedophiles who are actively seeking victims are either priest or lay members of the Holy Catholic Church according to self-report research conducted on Google posted survey,” says Dr. Williams.

“The connection the Catholic Church makes is shameful.  The Pope should be acting as a servant of Christ, not as a servant of the evil separation of man and God.  God’s love for man in unequivocal and has nothing to do with gay or straight.  However, the Papacy is tying hate for homosexuals to doctrine and that is an evil act,” says Dr. Manley.
