  • Hey, just wanted to say thanks for this really great post. This is indeed a very important month, however, I would guess that a broad majority are not currently aware of their cholesterol levels. Unfortunately, a lack of noticeable symptoms can make it relatively easy for people to choose to ignore their cholesterol. I am pleased to see that this month can help to raise awareness for a number of medical conditions. In hopes of spreading further awareness, I recently wrote a post on the symptoms of high cholesterol which is available at: http://www.clinicaltrialsgps.com/high-cholesterol/symptoms-of-high-cholesterol/

  • Thank you for sharing this post. This is why I hope that more people will be taking part in next year's National Cholesterol Education Month. Not enough people are aware of the complications that can arise from high cholesterol. Thanks again for this sharing the link on cholesterol symptoms too, that was a really great article!

  • Hey, if we are celebrating healthy aging, then there isn't a better public health event to uphold than American Heart Month! All through February, public health officials will be working to encourage heart-healthy habits in adults. If you haven't ever thought about how well your ticker is doing, then this is the perfect time to start.
