Detroit-based B2B Group, Biz To Biz Match Joins The Black Advantage III Event Weekend, with Breakfast Panel Discussion Presented To Help Local Business Owners Embrace New Business Paradigms and Standards

DETROIT - Biz To Biz Match is hosting a business breakfast panel titled, Collaboration For Power and Profit Breakfast and Symposium II, Thursday, May 7, 2015, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. during The Black Advantage III Business Conference. Thursday's opening breakfast event takes place at Greater Grace Temple, located at 23500 West Seven Mile Road, Detroit, Michigan (48219).

Small business owners, minority entrepreneurs, and professional practitioners are invited.

THE TALK:

The topic and subtitle is, Today's New, Hidden Business Essentials, Vital to Your Business Life and Longevity.

“Our Biz To Biz audience is entrepreneurial, typically of dominant personality type with independent mindset; so much so that -given what is also typical, a formidable work ethic- they are often unaware of why their businesses aren't doing as well as they could be,” shared Biz To Biz Match consultant and manager, Linda C. Allen.

“For as much of themselves as they put into the effort of running their businesses; entrepreneurs often still struggle. Many don't know how to take advantage of new business paradigms, or even that those shifts in business models exist,” she said.

“In other words, many independent and minority business owners don't know, what they don't know,” she concluded.

According to Allen and other Biz To Biz Match organizers, attendees will benefit right away; by the time the session is over they will have learned current methods to better relate, attract, and keep today's more sophisticated, engaged, and conscientious customer. Attendees will come away strong in knowing how to better identify, form, and maintain, beneficial alliances and partnerships.

Scheduled panelists featured are local and national leaders in legal, financial, community and political sectors, and include:

Professor, Eric C. Williams, Program Director, Entrepreneurship and Business Law at Wayne State University.

Brian Ellison, Principal of Intersection Consulting Group, LLC. specializing in permitting, licensing, project management, development consulting, and business and development advocacy.

Reverend Elreta Dodds, award-winning author and publisher.

Paul K. Rozier, "Serial entrepreneur," re-engineering strategist, and business educator. Founder of Get Up Presentations, expert in small business strategy and thought leadership.

“The breakfast presentation we've put together for our business owner audience is relevant because they are coming to improve, expand and experience some form of increase for their businesses and they WANT access to the information they need to do so. We've put together the panel precisely to provide that for them,” said Biz To Biz Match co-founder and CEO, Tenay Hankins.

“We intend to empower our audience, make new connections and partnerships, while strengthening relationships and following up to positive outcomes for our attendees,” she added.

“Biz to Biz Match expects to find business for those businesses, and create success stories,” she said.

Biz To Biz Match, a Detroit-based company on a mission to grow independent business, provides entrepreneurs, professionals and other leaders, with business networking and "matching" opportunities through events and services. Their customers include independent minority business owners, as well as corporate managers and diversity departments.

While this is the first time Biz To Biz Match has partnered with The Black Advantage event, now in its third year, Biz To Biz Match held its first business panel breakfast June 2014 at the Hotel St. Regis in Detroit. The model for that original breakfast shaped what is now a Biz To Biz Match signature event. Black Advantage creator Miles Dixon attended the original Biz To Biz Match breakfast and saw seeds for collaboration.

“Collaboration is what we’re all about. Today’s business environment demands a shift in the business owner mindset from the traditional focus on competitive ‘them-or-us’ tactics to that of collaborative ‘win-win’ strategies,” said Hankins.

“We recognized an ideal partnership with Miles’s vision and The Black Advantage,” she said.
