Among other things, it was found that a single surface can be used to perform lectin screening and to provide a highly relevant and reproducible determination of the glyco-profile of cancer cells.

Among other things, it was found that real-time screening of drug candidates in a synthetic and in a cellular context together provides highly informative and biologically relevant data.

Jun 23, 2010 10:54 EDT The objective of this application note was to determine the binding properties of the lectin ConA towards human epidermoid carcinoma cells. Among other things it was found that a kinetic approach may be used to determine the apparent affinity and rate constants of lectin-cell glycan interactions, providing a greater understanding of the mechanism involved in the lectin recognition of cancer cells.

Jun 30, 2010 10:25 EDT The objective of this application note was primarily to screen mouse IgG antibodies from crude samples for dissociation rates of bound antigen, and to determine detailed kinetic rate constants between the antigen and an antibody selected in the screen. Among other things, a method to capture mouse IgG from hybridoma supernatants was developed which can be replicated for capture of human IgGs.

Jul 14, 2010 10:19 EDT The objective of this application note was to determine off-rates of antibodies in mouse hybridoma supernatants and scaffold proteins in bacterial lysates using the Attana 200 system and Low Non-specific Binding (LNB) surfaces. Among other things, a method that can be used for clone selection, vaccine screening, biomarker discovery, biomanufacturing and performance studies was developed.
