Investing in global customer proximity is the new strategy for Swedish biosensor company Attana AB. Last week, the company announced an extended distribution agreement under which Tecan now will distribute Attana's label-free QCM biosensors in Europe as well. Tecan distributes Attana´s QCM biosensor in North America since January this year. Wanting to offer customers innovative applications for studies of molecular interactions, the company announced in September the collaboration with Layerlab under which Attana distributes memLAYER™, is also part of Attana’s global strategy.
“Global customer proximity is Attana’s next step towards assuring that our customers receive highest quality support and service through established distributors.” commented Teodor Aastrup, CEO and founder of Attana.
With Tecan’s strong sales and service organization in Europe and North America and Attana’s robust core facility in Stockholm, the company is now globally investing in customer proximity.
