DEWALT® 20V MAX* TOOL CONNECT™ Tough Rotary Lasers and Laser Distance Measurers

TOWSON, MD (June 12, 2018) — Coming soon are the DEWALT 20V MAX* Tool Connect™ Red and Green Tough Rotary Lasers and three extended range Laser Distance Measurers, two of which will be enabled to work with the DEWALT Tool Connect™ app.

The DEWALT 20V MAX* Tool Connect™ Green Tough Rotary Laser (DW080LGS) and DEWALT 20V MAX* Tool Connect™ Red Tough Rotary Laser (DW080LRS) feature Bluetooth® connectivity, which allows them to connect to the Tool Connect™ app for approximate location tracking and tool customization features. With an IP67 debris/water resistance, two meter drop protection, and a highly-visible green beam or traditional red beam, these Tough Rotary Lasers perform in adverse jobsite conditions and provide an accuracy of +/- 1/16” at 100 feet. They have an interior range of 250 feet or an exterior range of 2,000 feet with the use of a detector. Available in fall 2018 where DEWALT products are sold, these two new DEWALT Rotary Laser models come standard in a DEWALT TSTAK® Storage Case for additional convenience. Included with the 20V MAX* Tool Connect™ Red and Green Tough Rotary Laser is a 12V MAX*/20V MAX* charger, 20V MAX* 2.0Ah battery, detector, ceiling bracket, laser enhancement glasses, target card, and remote control.

Three new Laser Distance Measurers offer backlit high contrast 2.25-inch (measured diagonally) color LCD displays for visibility in various lighting conditions. Each also provides quick measuring for area and volume to support a variety of applications including painting and flooring estimates. The DEWALTTool Connect™ 330-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0330S) and DEWALT Tool Connect™ 165-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0165S) connect via Bluetooth® to store and save measurements and mark up photos on the DEWALT Tool Connect™ app. Capable of measuring distances up to 330ft. and 165ft. respectively, and with an accuracy of +/- 1/16” at 30ft. each, they feature continuous measurement tracking to quickly and easily find the distance from a target while calculating area and volume and saving historical measurements for reference to the last three measurements. All measurements can be taken in three units; feet, inches, and meters. They feature an over-molded grip to support a firm hold and provide drop protection while a wrist strap connection provides carrying convenience. Other functions include Pythagoras for room volume, as well as performing simple addition and subtraction functions. The DEWALT 165-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0165) is for professionals seeking a compact, easy-to-use laser measure with 165-foot range with accuracy of +/- 1/6” at 30-feet.

Available where DEWALT products are sold, the 20V MAX* Tool Connect™ Green Tough Rotary Laser (DW080LGS) will be available for $1,499 MSRP and the 20V MAX* Tool Connect™ Red Tough Rotary Laser (DW080LRS) will be available for $1,299 MSRP. The Tool Connect™ 330-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0330S) will be available for $179.99 MSRP. The Tool Connect™ 165-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0165S) will be available for $149.99 MSRP and the 165-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0165) will be available for $99.99 MSRP.
