Press release -

FIFA 16 showed off their trailers last week

Well it really depends on where PES is going, because as good as PES's game play can be, its lack of creativity holds me back from really getting into it, and it's bland menu's and GUI's can be an arduous task to navigate.

Whilst the core fundamentals of any footballing game are there - and arguably better than Fifa's, I think it is still a fair way behind in terms of physical battles and 1v1's. It's fine if you don't want to allow players to skill all day like fifa, but dribbling needs much improvement imo.

And then there’s the surrounding modes to which the decent game play is enclosed.

My club seemed decent this year, but I've never liked Master Leauge, I feel completely removed from real football when playing it, especially at transfer windows and it just feels like whilst the gameplay is solid - the designers never really managed to capture the essence of football with PES 2015, which Fifa does do quite well, especially in its presentation. PES is good at its champions league presentation, but I feel myself yearning for Fifa when playing in the BPL.

As for Fifa, I'll buy it tbh, its the one game I buy every year because for £50 i'm getting +100 hours of play, I just hope the career mode will have gotten some attention this year.

I feel quite the opposite. I don't play Master Club, or My Club. Playing FIFA online, or with friends is incredibly enjoyable, but if you're trying to play career mode, or anything that involves playing against the AI I find myself being more frustrated than enjoyed. I love the UI in FIFA, and being able to play in a legitimate version of BPL is amazing, but the lack of a competent AI just ruins the whole experience for me. I find myself yearning for a challenging and true football experience, even if it's at the expense of popular licenses. PES just feels more like the actual game of football to me, and I feel like that's where the developers want the game to go with Fifa coins. They listen to their fan base. For example, you brought up the skill moves, PES basically dedicated their trailer this year to show us how much they've improved in that aspect. I like the road the PES is going down, and I hope they do what 2K did to NBA LIVE.

I was a PES guy back in the day, but been a FIFA guy since they've revamped it in 08 or 09. I mainly play online (Seasons mode), but I'm getting more and more frustrated with EA. I almost feel hostage to the game cause I love it and keep buying it every year, but EA seem to give jack shits.

For example, in fifa 15, they said they're bringing more "emotion" to the game. All I saw was players getting fouled, getting up, and bumping chests with one another until one got carded. It didn't add anything to the game, but waste of time for everyone.
