Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber's Annual Meeting Set For January 25th

Austin, Texas (December 19, 2011) – Outgoing Chamber Chairman of the Board Anna Sanchez, Wells Fargo, will present highlights of the Chamber’s 2011 program year and recognize volunteers at the Annual Meeting of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will commence on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crown Plaza on North I35.

 “Austin’s business community continues to recognize the significance of being a part of such an exceptional organization that strives daily to make our community a better place to live and work,” said Andy Martinez, president, GAHCC. “Our efforts and accomplishments in 2011 reflect this commitment to the Greater Austin area.”

Incoming Chairman George Gutierrez, publisher of ¡ahora si!, will introduce the Chamber’s goals for 2012 which will include growing the membership base, Capital Campaign and the execution of Chamber events.

Other highlights during the Annual Meeting will include the induction of the 2012 GAHCC Board, as well as the opportunity for members to network.

 

“The Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity for members to review 2011 and learn what the Chamber’s plans are for 2012,” said Vicky H. Sepulveda, director of events, GAHCC. “It is our sincere hope that all of our members will be present to participate in the voting process.”
