Over the next year, the GAHCC will several events at the Microsoft store located at The Domain. As one of two Texas stores, the Domain location also holds software workshops open to the public in order to encourage technology education. Committed to supporting the local community, the Microsoft store has given $1 million in software grants to area nonprofits since opening in April 2012.
“The Chamber appreciates the work Microsoft does for nonprofits, and we’re proud to be recognized by them for the work we do,” said Andy Martinez, president, GAHCC. “As partners we want to work together to help the Austin community in our respective ways.”
