Nov 07, 2011 04:31 EST Researchers from Uppsala University and Halo Genomics are working on a joint study to identify mutations that cause colon cancer. Using HaloPlex™ PCR, the researchers were able to analyze a large number of samples in record time. The results show that HaloPlex PCR technology is useful for so-called companion diagnostics, as required to select the optimal cancer treatment.
