A Shore Restaurant Concept in Northern NJ?

Maxey Hayse was retained by Restauranteur, Dean Buttafuoco of the "Golden Dough Boys" to develop a design direction for a new restaurant featuring a Seafood House & Sports Bar. Our goal was to create a fun eclectic atmosphere that blended the 2 concepts without being typical and with a bit of sophistication. Mixing a seafood restaurant and sports bar isn't your standard mix and a bit tricky. However, the "Golden Dough Boys" and Maxey Hayse were up for the challenge. Balancing the finishes were key to successfully creating a strong design. Understanding the relationship of the various components of the restaurant was also essential in bringing a shore concept restaurant to Northern New Jersey. The blending of various rustic and industrial finishes while maintaining clean lines allowed us to achieve our goals. We are proud to say that Mr. Crabby' s is experiencing a very successful opening.
