Nobel Media, with Films Media Group, Distributes Official Nobel Programming to Educational Institutions

Nobel Media AB, the company responsible for producing the official Nobel TV programs and documentaries, announced the international distribution of Nobel TV programming from 2008 and 2009 to the educational market via Films Media Group, the leading distributor of high-quality video for academic, vocational and life-skills content. The Nobel Peace Prize and Literature Prize Documentaries, as well as the discussion program Nobel Minds involving all the Nobel Laureates, will now be available for global distribution to schools, colleges, and public libraries.

Nobel Minds is a round table discussion program involving the current year's Nobel Laureates, produced by SVT and BBC World. The Nobel Laureates meet in the Bernadotte Library at the Royal Castle in Stockholm to discuss and debate issues of global concern and the future of their own research. The 2008 Nobel Literature Documentary explores the career of the Nobel Laureate in Literature, Jean-Marie Gustav Le Clézio. The life and work of the 2008 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Martti Ahtisaari is introduced in the 2008 Peace Prize Documentary. Corresponding programs and documentaries from 2009 and beyond will also be included for distribution.
