Simon Fredriksson is taking over from Björn Ekström who has been managing the company since its inception in 2004. At the same time new members of the Board of Directors have been appointed.

Previously Dr Gullberg worked for 10 years at Uppsala University where he also earned his Ph.D. The focus of his work since 1999 has been proximity ligation, rolling circle amplification and selector technology, all core technologies of Olink Bioscience.
Mr. Ekström has many years of experience in the biotech tools industry, including 18 years with Pharmacia Biotech (now GE Healthcare) in leading R&D positions, of which 5 years as Director of Exploratory Research.
