Simon Fredriksson is taking over from Björn Ekström who has been managing the company since its inception in 2004. At the same time new members of the Board of Directors have been appointed.

The Duolink® kit from Olink Bioscience enables researchers to use existing antibodies to detect single molecular events, such as protein interactions in unmodified cells and tissue sections. Duolink is based on in situ PLA™ which has the resolution and sensitivity to visualize post-translational modifications and protein interactions, which are fundamental processes in cell signaling pathways.

Mr. Ekström has many years of experience in the biotech tools industry, including 18 years with Pharmacia Biotech (now GE Healthcare) in leading R&D positions, of which 5 years as Director of Exploratory Research.
