Scalado - Mobile album evolution

Browsing images on your mobile phone shouldn’t be a problem – it should just work without any lag. In recent years the browsing experience has evolved due to smart phones, and now starting to become as you really want it to be. Scalado has been showing the way since mid 2000 long before the dawn of the smart phones of today.

In 2005 Scalado made the first super-fast album on a mobile phone, which also made it easier to search and organize your photos. Later the next year Scalado made an album with a 3d layout (this before Smart Phones was “invented”).

One of Scalado’s strength has been that everything’s software based (using Scalado patents) and OS independent, so it’s not depended on the having powerful hardware. With Scalado’s magic every image is shown in full resolution and allowing the user to instant zoom into any image (with no loading or lag what so ever). The images size doesn’t matter at all.

Scalado’s album technology has continuously been evolving and more advanced viewing solutions have been released through the years. One was showing 10 000 images at once on an iPad, where you could get to a specific picture in just 2-3 clicks and also sort your pictures by person, place, time, color etc.
