SEKAB E-Technology welcomes SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden’s (SP) engagement in the Biorefinery Demo Plant in Örnsköldsvik, previously known as the Ethanol Pilot. SP and SEKAB have signed an agreement, which ensures continued operations of the demonstration plant. SP is planning to expand the operation’s focus to the development of additional sustainable products.

ED95®, SEKAB's ethanol-based biofuel for customized diesel engines
Swedish transport company Kyl & Frysexpressen runs twelve of its 70 trucks on ED95®, SEKAB's ethanol-based biofuel for customized diesel engines. Moreover, by using SEKAB’s premium product made from second-generation ethanol, a byproduct from existing production, Kyl & Frysexpressen achieves maximal reduction of carbon emissions.

Here our researchers are able to verify and optimise on a large scale processes which have previously been developed in laboratories.
