Solvatten AB and Tricorona

Safe water is a scarce resource in many countries in Africa. To make contaminated water drinkable it must be treated, and the most common way to do this is by boiling. The process of boiling water consumes large quantities of fuel, often firewood collected locally. Since the trees are not replanted, the resulting deforestation contributes to climate change.
