World Cup Champions Wins with TeXtreme® Sticks

During the Field Hockey World Cup in May 2014 Maartje Paumen, together with her team, came out as champions winning the gold medal for the Netherlands. The Dutch men were not far behind, receiving silver for their efforts with Japp Stockmann being the best goalkeeper of the World Cup. Both teams were playing successfully using Brabo Hockey’s TeXtreme® Orange Edition sticks, especially developed for the Dutch international players.

Joep Paumen, brand manager Brabo Hockey, explains the reason for using TeXtreme®: “We’ve received great feedback from our international sponsor players. They were impressed by the great characteristics of the TeXtreme® sticks. We are very happy that we can now offer an innovative range of sticks that are extremely light, but still offer great stiffness. The best combination you can think of in hockey”.

“TeXtreme® gives us the possibility to make thinner laminates, reduce the weight and improve mechanical performance. The advantages are allowing us to place the swing weight exactly at a position which will help you to play better!” Joep Paumen continues.

The Brabo Hockey TeXtreme® series field hockey sticks are available in stores.
