Oxeon wins business award DI Gasell

Oxeon has been awarded as the “Gasell” company 2010 for the region of Western Sweden. The “Gasell” competition is a yearly decoration handed out by Swedish newspaper “Dagens Industri” (DI) to the fastest growing companies in Sweden.

Oxeon develops, produces and markets Spread Tow carbon reinforcements to composite manufacturers looking for an optimized ultra light reinforcement solution.

Oxeon representatives Nandan Khokar and Andreas Martsman received the prize at the “Gasell” gala in Gothenburg held at the Elite Park Avenue Hotel the 16^th of November.

Andreas Martsman, Vice President and head of business development says that: “We are glad to have received this award. It is a great indication that we are on the right track and that our customers appreciate our products and also that the Oxeon team that we have built over the years is very strong”.

Every year DI awards “Gasell” companies and highlights the regional winners. Thereafter one company is decorated “Supergasell”, as the fastest growing company in Sweden. The final competition is held in Stockholm November 29^th

About the “Gasell” award

The term “Gasell” (in English Gazelle) was created in the 1980´s to describe the small fast-growing companies that creates a great part of all new jobs, as in difference to the big elephants that often must focus on efficiency and reduce employment. A “Gasell” is also distinguishing itself from the mouse companies that are fighting for the bread and butter, and not foremost to grow.

The demands to be named a “Gasell is: A turnover that exceeds 10 million SEK, at least 10 employees, made public 4 annual reports, at least doubled the turnover between the first and last year, increased turnover every year, have a operating profit that are positive for all 4 for years, and in all important aspects grown organic and not by acquisitions or fusions.
