Thule Adventure Team Race Story ARWC 2011

Stomach bugs, freezing cold water sections, inpenetrable rainforests, wombats, venomous snakes and scary sleepmonsters – as predicted the Adventure Racing World Championship held in Tasmania November 2-11 became an epic struggle between the best multisport teams in the world. Following their successful performances in 2011, Thule Adventure Team managed to to stick to their hardcore strategy and claimed the victory after 5 days, 10 hours and 57 minutes.

Thule Adventure Team is getting ready for the Adventure Racing World Championships 2011 in Tasmania

Thule Adventure Team is getting ready for tomorrow's start of the World Adventure Race, which this year is in Tasmania, Australia. Sleep, or rather as little sleep as possible, and avoiding snake bites seem to be two of the keys to success in this year's race. Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, at 09 starting gun sounds.

Thule Adventure Team – multisport winners on two continents, in the SM (Swedish Championship) in Karlstad, Sweden and in Expedition Idaho, USA

It has been an intense week for the Thule Adventure Team who participated in both the SM in Multisport, which took place around Karlstad, Sweden, and the seven-day Expedition Idaho race around Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
