Thule Adventure Team once again ranked as #1 in the world

Thule Adventure Team has been ranked as the second best team for a long time but after winning the world championships in Costa Rica in December , Thule is back in the lead closely followed by Team Seagate and team Columbia Vidaraid.

The Adventure Racing World ranking system is based on a team's ranking in the past two years' results during the Adventure Racing World Series. The ranking is an ongoing comparison between teams from completed competitions that are part of the World Series, where the ranking is updated with a 4-6 month period.

Thule Adventure Team - Winners of the Adventure Racing World Championships in Costa Rica 2013

The 2013 World Championships of Adventure Racing took place in Costa Rica this past week and is known as one of the toughest races in the history of adventure racing. The race consisted of 13 stages and was spread over more than 800 km of inaccessible wilderness with lethal animals, such as crocodiles, snakes and spiders.
