“We’ve compiled a lot of lists here over the years. But assembling our first-ever list of the most important gear proved to be a monumental task. We started by casting a wide net, and compiled a working list of all the outdoor gear, from rubber rafts to pit zips to SUPs, that fundamentally altered the way we recreate outdoors, either by ushering in an entirely new sport (like snowboarding) or radically changing the way we were currently doing something (think helmet cams),” remarked Sam Moulton, Outside’s Executive Editor.
”Being included in this exclusive list is a credit to our decades of innovative product development and the passion of all the people behind the Thule products our consumer rely on and our brand which consumers trust. We are honored and humbled to be named,” said Fred Clark, the Thule Group North American President.
