MeetingSource.com Releases List of Top Convention Cities in the USA for 2017

MeetingSource.com has picked the top 12 convention cities for 2017.

One hundred and seventy-six convention cities were compared across five site selection factors: Affordability, Ease of Access, Safety, Walk-ability and Promotional Appeal. The top four cities were selected for each convention size (up to 1000 for small conventions thru 10,000+ for large ones) were resulting in a total of.twelve top convention cities for 2017.

The top cities by maximum group size are: Small: Fargo, Portland Me, Silicon Valley, Tacoma

Medium: Austin, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Salt Lake

Large: Las Vegas, Miami, Phoenix, San Francisco

“The list is a great place to start looking for a city suitable for a convention,” said John Horchner, author of the study. “Reviewing the list is a quick way to find the country's top convention destinations based on five important factors. Cities might come up that have been missed.”

The new top 12 convention cities list has been added to the top 25 center ranking the website has maintained for years.
