Vitrolife present at the first ReproYoung conference

Vitrolife was present at the first ReproYoung meeting, a newly established association for young researchers in reproduction. The meeting took place at Örenäs Castle in Sweden and gathered around 60 young researchers from Sweden and Denmark.

– Vitrolife is a company with strong focus on research and development. Being present among young people with new ideas makes perfect sense to us, says Dr. Christer Silversand, CSO at Vitrolife.

 – The meeting has given me a clear view of reproductive research in the Öresund region. I am not alone in my research area, says Linus Kvist, PhD-student at University of Lund, Sweden.

Vitrolife as a company working in the field of reproduction were invited to talk about career opportunities. Jaco Geyer from Vitrolife is a former IVF-laboratory manager. He shared his experiences coming from the clinic to now work with technical support as a Clinical Relations Manager.

ReproYoung is a newly established association for young researchers in reproduction. ReproYoung aims to enhance collaboration and sharing of scientific knowledge between departments in the field of reproduction in Denmark and Sweden.
