Voddler launches Voddler Plus for 7.9 EUR/month – instant play and no interruptions for thousands of movies

Voddler, Scandinavia’s leading video-on-demand service, today launched its membership program Voddler Plus. For 7.9 EUR/month, Voddler Plus-members can watch thousands of films without pre-movie messages or breaks. Voddler Plus-members also exclusively get select premium titles at no extra cost, discounts on all rentals, HD-quality, Voddler’s mobile apps, partner offers, and more.

With Voddler Plus, Voddler offers its customers quicker access to the market’s largest library of ad-funded movies, counting several thousands of titles from over 30 film studios, including the Hollywood majors.

-  Our customers keep asking for easier ways to pay for their film viewing. The movie industry, used to releasing movies to one window at a time and charging by the title, is looking for new revenue models, just like the music industry did some years ago. With Voddler Plus, we want to both give our customers more of what they request and also show the film business all the revenue there is in new digital business models, says Anders Sjöman, VP Corporate Communication at Voddler.

As a limited introductory price, Voddler Plus costs 1.9 EUR/month, compared to 7.9 EUR/month. Voddler Plus has no commitment and you can cancel at any time. You also don’t have to be a Voddler Plus-member to watch Voddler-movies: Voddler continues to offer both pure rentals and ad-funded movies. Looking forward, Voddler continues its development. This fall includes launches of offline mode, so you can see your Voddler-movies also without a web connection; and cloud purchases, that lets you buy unlimited access to see a film or TV-show without having to remember where you stored it.
