Whaam: A new service wants to change your Internet behavior.

New service wants to change your Internet behavior.

Whaam is a new web based service. Its vision is to change the way we explore the Internet. With Whaam, it’s all about the links and linklists. The team behind the service wants to show the public that it do exists a more fun and creative way of exploring the web.

The service is divided into three cornerstones. You save, share and discover links. This means that you save and organize your favorite links in great looking link list. You can then share these link lists with others that might have the same interests. To make the circle complete you can discover new links by browsing through others link lists. It’s simple as that.

Fredrik, Marketing Director at Whaam, says that the purpose with the site is to offer more links with quality. This turns in to reality because it is the users that create the library of links.

Tom Ahldin together with three other investors felt tired of not finding a service that handles links in the same way as pictures or videos are handled. They decided to create such a service themselves. After the idea was ignited in 2008 the final site is now finally finished and it looks good, according to the creators.  On Whaam, pictures are highly prioritized. A picture represents each link and the text is almost neglected to leave a more clean and simple look.

One important element during the creation of Whaam was to optimize the user experience. It should be, as many knows, very clear how the site works and what you can do.
