Most Desirable Classic Cars

Classic cars captivate us with their beauty, rarity and engineering, with the memories they evoke, the history they capture. The article collected here present concise details of 5 classic cars built in America.

Impala SS Convertible:

This Impala SS Convertible was one of the longest and most revered GM cars from the early 1960s. Its styling shows a period of transition for all car styling, with some blocky features like JFK’s 1961 Lincoln Continental but also the wide and flat grille from years later for most cars.

The biggest engine you could get in 1958 was a 348 cubic inch V8, featuring three 2-barrel carburetors. The uniquely shaped valve covers make it easy to spot in the engine bay and the trio of carburetors hides neatly under a large, round air cleaner. It still generates electricity with a generator and it's fitted with a reproduction Delco tar top battery, so they obviously cared about making it look right as well as run properly.

Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Classic:

Stunning, Model 3124 Cameo Carrier from the Western U.S. Only 2,244 units were manufactured in 1957. 265ci 145hp ‘Trade master’ V8 with 3-Speed Manual Transmission. Features Sweep Side Windshield, Wrap-Around Rear Window, Fiberglass ‘Slab-Side’ Rear Fender Skins & Tailgate, Front/Rear Bumper Guards, Deluxe Heater/Defroster and Wide Whitewall Tires with Fluted Trim Rings & Center Caps. This Cameo is documented with its Original General Motors issued ‘Owner Service Policy’ and Full Owner History. An Outstanding Chevrolet Collectible!

1941 Willys Americar Custom:

This amazing 1941 Willys Americar gets everything just right. Fully engineered to be a joy to drive, it's also finished to show standards and filled with some pretty serious hardware built by some of the biggest names in the business. This cool coupe is the real deal!. The interior was crafted with driving in mind, which also means it's user-friendly and easy to get in and out. The bucket seats look to be from an early Mustang, and they're a great clean alternative to the overstuffed leather chairs you see in so many modern rods.

1969 Plymouth Road Runner:

Released in February 1969, Plymouth offered their potent 440 'Six Pack' engine in the Road Runner with a package called A12.

The Roadrunner was not fragile. Unlike some sports cars (such as the Corvette), it was built for serious street work, which might be why so many have survived. The Roadrunner was reportedly a favorite of moon shiners, faster than almost any police car and tough enough to take practically any bump, with good ground clearance to boot.

Chevrolet Corvette 2 door coupe:

The Chevrolet Corvette 427 L71 is a coupe with 2 doors and a front mounted power plant which transmits its power through the rear wheels. The Chevrolet Corvette 427 L71 is one of the 19400 model family from Chevrolet. The 7 litre engine is a naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 8 cylinders that has an output of 435 bhp. The Corvette not only had a new design, but also newfound handling prowess. It was also a somewhat lighter Corvette, so acceleration improved despite unchanged horsepower.
