Press release -

After the super storm clear up, the death toll will rise

As we know the super storm sandy has caused havoc  but is doesn't stop after the last dumpster has gone. People on the eastern sea board are trying to get back to normal, which could take some time. But it's not over even then, major appliences may have been damaged in ways you can't see, your furnace or your stove could have have pipe work dislodged or the flu could be blocked with debris. The thing you want to do is get in and get warm and also dry the house out. It may not be possible to get a plumber or heating engineer in right now because the will be full on. It is important that you get appliences out. Rob Aiers of www.carbonmonoxidekills.com says " This goes against everything that we say under normal conditions on the web site, But exceptional times call for exceptional solutions. If you can not get an engineer out as a tempory measure get a carbon monoxide alarm. But this should only be a temporary measure until you can get some one to check appliences out".

Make sure that if you have survived the storm that you are not killed or injured by carbon monoxide from faulty appliances. Our thoughts are with you at this time, keep safe.
