Press release —
Another death in UK from BBQ and tent incident
Rob Aiers of www.carbonmonoxidekills.com says that government has been talking about safety around of carbon monoxide for the 12 years that he has been involved with the subject. Rob says that he has drunk gallons of coffee and pounds of buscuits at meetings going back a full 12 years and still the British public are dying through a lack of knowledge. The number of people who are injured or who die is still not even thoroughly known, untill such time as it is, and time is made in dicovering the real numbers no importance will be attached to the problem. This has been amply demonstaighted by the deaths in the last few months of people who are unaware of the dangers of carbon monoxide, lets ask the question was a public campaign embarked upon to make sure that no one else sffered the same fate after the first death? At www.carbonmonioxidekills.com we have been getting a safety message out now for 12 years, we have tried to work with government in order to help in this regard. We have even offered www.carbonmnoxidekills.org.uk to the governement for its own use. Instead it set up COCAA via Corgi's succesor, with the catchy we site www.becarbonmonoxideaware.com. In point of fact its the charities have done the heavy liftling whilst the various government departments rearange the deck chairs on the Titanic. It is about time the British government stepped up to the plate. The safety of a Country's people should surely be above The House of Lords refom, The Rupert Murdoch issue etc. Priority chaps after all "We are in this together."
