AB DuoCort AB has reached an agreement with pharmaceuticals company ViroPharma Incorporated to sell its subsidiary DuoCort Pharma AB with Plenadren®, a new treatment for adrenal insufficiency, also known as Addison’s disease. Plenadren was developed in house by DuoCort Pharma AB. The total value of the deal is over SEK 1 billion.
