As a way to get the community involved, they hosted a “Massage in the Park” event, gave free massages at the Pueblo Chemical Depot and raised Earth Day awareness on campus.

Salon owners came out to judge the Earth, Wind and Fire themed hair art. Winners received donated prizes worth up to $600 in beauty supplies. This event was a great opportunity for students to showcase their newly learned skills.

A new year means new resolutions and new opportunities for students to improve their own well-being. IntelliTec will educate students about the effects of smoking, welcome guest speakers on the subject and share student success stories over a 24 week period.

Anyone who wants to work in the healthcare industry, enjoys fixing things and is mechanically and electronically inclined could do well in this program and could quickly be on their way to becoming a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).

Dec 28, 2012 11:57 EST IntelliTec College A group of students from IntelliTec College’s Personal Trainer Program just took and passed their National Academy of Sports Medicine’s (NASM) Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) Credential exam. This Credential will give the students a jump on the competition when they enter into the industry. This success marks the first of three opportunities to achieve an NASM fitness credential at IntelliTec.

Donations will be delivered to area families in need. Santa will also make an appearance at the College on December 6th for the Holiday Cheer event. Attendees can donate toys, enjoy activities and take a tour of the school.
