Leaders in anesthesia care working less and less with professional issues

Leaders in anesthesia care today are working less and less with job-specific questions and more with personnel and administrative matters. This is shown in Bente Lüdemanns Master of Public Health at the Nordic School of Public Health NHV.

Being a leader of the staff groups within the anesthesia care today can be stressful, which can affect the health. Leadership is in changing and the urge to be a leader is increasing.
– Other stressful tasks for leaders is that professional issues often is being assigned a lower priority, says Bente Lüdemann.
