Mobizoft partners with TV production company Webcast for live streaming to smartphones and tablets

Webcast.no is one of the largest TV production companies in Norway for live streaming on the Internet. By partnering with Mobizoft, Webcast can now offer high quality live streaming to both the web and to all smartphones and tablets. 

Webcast competence covers the span from the direction and production to the post production of films. They create scripts, film, edit and create visual effects based on customers'communications needs.

Webcast customers include large organisations and companies like Telenor, DnB, Posten Norge and Tomra.

The live streaming service support all smartphones and tablets, ie iPhone, iPad, Android, Symbian, WP7 and Blackberry, as well as all other media-capable phones. The service also automatically adapts all live streams to the mobile network (4G, 3G, 2G, or WiFi) and ensures an excellent end-user experience.

This is how it works
Webcast need to be able to quickly setup one or more concurrent live streaming events from different places. Webcast can easily change the input videostream using a web interface. The videostream can be in either Windows Media or RTMP (flash) format. Mobizoft's cloud service creates a unified link (URL) that Webcast can publish on a website or distribute via SMS.
