As part of ongoing expansions to their online travel offerings, Travelstart has partnered with one of the most sophisticated car rental booking engines to build on the strengths of their flight and hotel booking services. The new car rental booking website not only offers the well-known brands, but also pulls inventory from multiple sources to ensure Travelstart customers get the best availability at competitive prices.

“We know car rental can be tricky to purchase online so we’ve ensured information is presented clearly and that the website is user friendly.” says Helen Harvey, Cape Town based Operations Manager for hotels and cars at Travelstart South Africa. “Pricing is highly competitive  and customers can expect a great variety of cars from over 550 trusted suppliers like Avis, Hertz, First Car and Thrifty as well as lesser known companies.”

As with Travelstart’s online flight and hotel bookings can be booked and paid for directly from the website. Different settlement options allow for greater scope - customers can choose to pay the amount in full before collecting the car, or pay a deposit before settling the balance on collection. Customers can pay for car rental using their Credit Card – Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club are all accepted.
