VisiConsult X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH expands its international coverage through new additions to the representative network and the opening of new subsidiaries.
VisiConsult developed the free smartphone app “NDT-X-ray Toolbox”, which is designed to make the daily work of NDT technicians and X-ray users easier.
VisiConsult organized the second X-ray Technology Day in Stockelsdorf near Lübeck on 20th and 21st February. With renowned speakers and interesting topics, the day turned out as a big success.
Recently, a well-known maintenance and repair (MRO) company invested in the flexible XRHGantry system from VisiConsult to perform nondestructive testing on turbine parts. This speeds up the inspection process of heavy, large and complex components while ensuring the highest quality.

Ralf Stegner, the national chairman of the German party SPD, has visited VisiConsult in Stockelsdorf and got to know the family company with its innovative X-ray systems.
VisiConsult attends an exhibition in Hamburg for non-destructive testing with a presentation about automatic X-ray inspection and innovative X-ray robot systems and solutions.
In digital X-ray inspection, a radiograph of an object penetrated by X-rays is directly displayed on a screen. In the process called ADR (Automatic Defect Recognition) using X-ray radiation, the interaction of an operator is not needed to evaluate the X-ray image for any existing defects such as porosities, inclusions and other identified defects.
The DIN EN ISO 17636 was released in 2013 and replaces the dated EN 1435. It defines the procedure of weld-inspection by using X-ray technology. Additionally, the DIN EN ISO 17636-2 is the first standard that provides guidelines for the inspection using imaging plates (IP/CR) and digital matrix detectors (DDA) in X-ray inspection.
At the Smart Factory Industry Forum, which takes place on 28th October in Chicago, innovative Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 4.0 solutions will be presented. The forum will be followed by the GACC Awards Gala, where Gala VisiConsult will be honored as one of the winners of this year in the category excellent innovation for its XRHCount.

The compact X-ray cabinet InSpect can be used with Mini-Focus or Micro-Focus tubes and film, imaging plates (CR) or digital detectors to generate high resolution images of samples.
