The concert is built on Ted Gärdestad’s original arrangements. The host is Janne Schaffer, who was Ted’s personal friend and played on almost all of his songs. He talks about the music, about the person Ted was and also joins the band. Soloists Sonja Aldén and Kristin Amparo are brilliant Gärdestad’s interpreters and have been handpicked alongside Johan Boding
whose vocal pitch is very similar to Ted’s high tenor. The musical director Peter Ljung has gathered some of Sweden’s top musicians.
