Vitality members can now earn an Apple Watch by being more active

Discovery announces the activation of Vitality Active Rewards with Apple Watch for Vitality members in South Africa. The country becomes the first within the global Vitality Network to launch the eagerly anticipated benefit, which will be rolled out to other Vitality network companies in time.

Apple’s ground breaking health and fitness companion, Apple Watch, combined with Vitality Active Rewards is designed to help motivate and encourage Vitality members to get more active. Through the benefit, Vitality members will be able to fully fund their Apple Watch by meeting all of their weekly Vitality Active Rewards goals over 24 months.

Vitality Active Rewards has been designed to work seamlessly with Apple Watch. Based on the personalised activity goal set by Discovery Vitality each week, a member’s Apple Watch measures their physical activity allowing them to earn Vitality fitness points towards achieving their Vitality Active Rewards goal. These goals can increase or decrease based on a person's goal history.
