International women's day

Today is International Women's Day where everyone's equal rights, regardless of gender, are highlighted. At United Hearts in Matanana, we work to raise and improve girls' rights in the local area. Now that the pandemic is over, we hope to be able to resume the much-appreciated Gender Equality Awareness Week, where local experts and lecturers are hired to educate younger students on these important issues.Today we also want to take the opportunity to express our great gratitude to the fantastically talented and hard-working women who work at the orphanage and give both our girls and boys the care, closeness and adult role models that are needed!
