    ​Great Coin Collections up for Auction in Copenhagen

    Bruun Rasmussen’s international coin auction of the spring, will take place in Copenhagen on Tuesday 10 May with a total of 724 lots spread out over three catalogues, which contain two large private coin collections - including a unique, royal presentation set from 1854 estimated at DKK 100,000.

    At this summer's international design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Copenhagen we can present three extremely rare furniture pieces from the golden age of Danish design during the 1950s.

    ​Unique Japanese letter from 1880 at auction in Copenhagen

    Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers is offering a unique letter, which has been sent from Nagasaki (Japan) to Ribe (Denmark) in 1880. It might be more than 175 years since the world's first postage stamp saw the light of day, but fortunately, from time to time, some rare stamps and letters that have not previously found their way into the expert hands of philatelists still turn up.

    ​Rare Louis XV Bureau en Pente up for Auction in June 2016

    Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers in Copenhagen presents an elegant Louis XV Bureau en Pente from c. 1750 at the international auction this summer. The bureau is attributed to the renowned French cabinetmaker Jacques Dubois (1694-1763), who created exquisite furniture for the royal court.

    Neoclassical furniture at auction in Copenhagen

    ​Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers is focusing on neoclassicism, one of the most recurrent styles in world history as expressed in several of the pieces featured in the upcoming auction at Bredgade in Copenhagen. The preview opens on Thursday 25th February and the auction of antiques takes place on Wednesday 2 March.

    Across Mine-Filled Waters with Peder Moos

    ​The uncompromising Danish cabinetmaker Peder Moos has created several of the furniture pieces at Bruun Rasmussen’s international spring auction for design – including a unique stool, which was part of the exhibition ”Danish Art Treasures – through the ages” in London in 1948. The preview opens on Thursday 25th February and the auction is held on Thursday 10th March.
