Cavotec has signed a service partner agreement with COSCO Group, one of the world’s largest shipping companies. Based on the new long-term agreement, Cavotec will provide preventive maintenance for more than 60 ocean-going vessels equipped with Cavotec shore power systems.
Cavotec has won a 6.65 million euro order from one of the world’s largest shipping lines for shore power connection equipment for new-build container ships. Deliveries will be made between late 2023 and early 2025. The contract further strengthens Cavotec’s leading position in the decarbonisation of the maritime industry.
Sweden’s first MoorMaster NxG vacuum mooring system officially entered service last week, paving the way for significant safety, operational and sustainability gains.
