Cavotec has signed an order for shore power with a global shipping company, valued at about USD 5 million. The order includes a substantial number of PowerFit shore power units, enabling vessels to connect to shore power with ease while docked. Deliveries is scheduled later this year.
Cavotec has signed a service agreement with APM Terminals at the Port of Tanger Med. The agreement means that Cavotec will perform service for all its MoorMaster NxG units and Power Units operational at the port.
Cavotec has signed a contract to retrofit vessels with shore power solutions for a major European shipping line. The order value is USD 5.7 million, and deliveries are scheduled throughout 2024.
Cavotec has signed a service partner agreement with COSCO Group, one of the world’s largest shipping companies. Based on the new long-term agreement, Cavotec will provide preventive maintenance for more than 60 ocean-going vessels equipped with Cavotec shore power systems.

Sweden’s first MoorMaster NxG vacuum mooring system officially entered service last week, paving the way for significant safety, operational and sustainability gains. The system, at Port of Kapellskär, part of Ports of Stockholm, is now being used with Finnlines’ new-build Ro/Pax passenger and freight vessel, Finnsirius.
