Cavotec has deepened its partnership with Qwello by signing an order for 1,000 spring cable reels for electric vehicle charging stations across Europe. The order was signed at the end of 2024.

Heralding a major breakthrough in industrial e-vehicle and e-vessel charging, global engineering group Cavotec has launched its ultra-fast Megawatt Charging System (MCS). Providing up to 3MW of power from a single connector, the MCS is a turnkey DC charging solution with grid-to-inlet functionality that supports the decarbonisation of industrial vehicles and ships.

David Pagels, 54, has been appointed CEO of Cavotec SA. Pagels will assume the position as CEO of Cavotec during May 2022.
In a major development signalling Cavotec’s entry into industrial battery charging for heavy duty vehicles, Cavotec is to supply a proof-of-concept battery charging system for use with heavy-duty mining trucks.
