The Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen can present art and antiques that tell us stories about the close connections between Russian and Danish culture. The auction at 3 pm on 2 December takes a long and interesting journey through history: from miniature portraits of the Russian Imperial family, through modern art made during the post-war period to unique antiques from Fabergé.
The Danish auction house, Bruun Rasmussen, can now present two rare portraits of the infamous Grigori Rasputin, where he personally sat as a model, at their upcoming Live Auction on 2 June in Copenhagen.
A genuine bidding war broke out in the saleroom on Wednesday 7 December when Bruun Rasmussen auctioned off exquisite gifts given from the Imperial Family to various Danes, among them kings and queens.

Bruun Rasmussen has just completed two weeks of international auctions in Copenhagen, where Russian art and antiques were distributed across a traditional auction on Friday 8 June and a subsequent online auction on Monday 11 June. The highest hammer price was achieved by a painting by Feodor Vasilievich Sychkov, which depicted life in a snow-covered Russian village in 1934.
